Hello, Lovelies!
Today will be an unboxing post for Love With Food’s April box. This is my first box and I received this box weeks ago, but I didn’t have time to actually post this review on my blog :(.
But, hey, here’s the day! The Love With Food box is a unique box in that not only do you get relatively healthy snacks, but each box you get, they will donate a meal to a child in hunger, which is awesome if you ask me. The box itself costs $10 plus $2 shipping, making a total of $12 a month. My first box costed me only $2, since I used a coupon.

This month’s theme was STARRY NIGHTS.

The snacks that you get this month are:
- Yum Earth Naturals Sour Beans
- Oloves Basil and Garlic
- Back to Nature Honey Graham Sticks
- Vintage Italia Pasta Chips
- Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread
- Luna Mini: Lemon Zest
- Wild Garden Hummus & Quinoa Chips
- Mighty Leaf Tropical Green Tea
- Love With Food STAR Magnet
- Several Coupons and Offers
So you get a lot of stuff, right? YAY! I was pretty impressed with all the stuff I got! I will definitely want to purchase another box from Love With Food in the future, because first of all, I think it’s great that they provide a meal each time you get a box, and second of all, I get to be exposed to different brands and foods that I have never heard of, and you know me, I am an adventurous eater!
The Yum Earth Sour Beans were very interesting! I was expecting jelly beans in the packet, and they were! BUT they didn’t have that hard and thin candy coating, instead, these were simply covered in some type of sugar. I found myself munching on them in class! At first, the taste was a little odd to me; some of the flavors tasted like medicine, and the others sort of had a soapy after taste, if you know what I mean. But as I kept scuffing them down as my professor wasn’t looking, I thoroughly enjoyed them! 7/10!

Those tangy Oloves! These were so different for me! The only olives that I have ever tried are the ones that you get on either Greek salads, or combination pizzas! But these olives are WAY different! They seem to have been in a sort of brine, if I am not mistaken, and they have flavors of basil and garlic, which is absolutely delicious! But these might have been way too tangy for me. Then again, I just popped them in my mouth, so that could have contributed to my disliking of it. In the future, I definitely would have chopped these little jewels up and tossed them into my salads. 6/10!

The Honey Graham Sticks were nice and sweet! They were a lot like the honey teddy bear grahams that you get from the store, but a lot more wheat-y! It was pretty good, but I generally am not a fan of graham anything. I know, just call me a weirdo! But I never really liked graham crackers, graham cracker crusts, or even grahams that you use for s’mores! The texture just reminds me of cardboard too much! If you do like grahams, you’ll definitely enjoy these! 7/10!

The Pasta Chips were delicious! I really liked these! The packaging reminded me a lot of the Sun Chips packaging. The chips lived up to their names, and definitely reminded me of a pasta sauce! They were nice and savory, and herb-y, my favorite! 9/10!

I have already tried Walkers Shortbread from Trader Joes! I bought them once and they were OH SO BUTTERY! The only reason why I haven’t bought them in a while is because of the price. They can get a bit pricey! But back to the snacks, you get two pieces and these shortbread cookies are just melt in your mouth! They have a slightly flaky texture to them and they are just to die for! I could eat a whole pack from Trader Joes. Just hold on for 20 minutes while I take a quick trip to TJ’s! 9.5/10!

Well, hello, I am back from buying some more Walkers Shortbread ;). Luna Bars are pretty delicious, but they are definitely not my go-to protein/snack bar. I personally love Quest and Macro Bars! This Luna Bar is really awesome, though, because lemon zest is my all time favorite flavor, and they are just great on-the-go snacks! 8/10!

This probably has to be my favorite thing in this month’s box! That is the Wild Garden Hummus and Quinoa Chips, mainly the quinoa chips. You open the box and out comes a tube of hummus and a bag of quinoa chips. I tasted them separately and they were pretty good! I have had better hummus, and I typically like my hummus better when it is chilled. This hummus was just room temperature, obviously. I could’ve put it in the fridge for a couple of hours, but I didn’t think about it at the time. The quinoa chips are a whole different story! These were FREAKISHLY good! Wow! Whether it was by itself, or if I put in some hummus, it was delicious! The texture and flavor were on point, let me tell you. To me, it tasted like a cross between popcorn and a veggie chip. I know that sounds weird and maybe disgusting, but it tastes pretty good! So good, that I have been tracking these chips down everywhere in my local stores! No luck! I will definitely be purchasing a huge bag of these Wild Garden Quinoa Chips because they are turning into my currently favorite chips! Hummus = 7/10……..Quinoa = 10/10!

Mighty Leaf Tropical Green Tea was refreshing! I love my teas iced, except for chai lattes! And so I made an iced tea with this and it was super refreshing! It was nice because it was pretty warm outside the day that I made it. I enjoyed it, but I think I’m gonna stick with my chai lattes! 7/10!

The rest of things I received were a Love With Food Magnet shaped like a heart and also a bunch of coupons and promotions! I think this box is really awesome to receive! Even though it may seems that my scoring is slightly low for most, I really did like everything in the box! I usually ate these whenever I was in a hurry, so anything out of this box is completely useful and delicious! Go now and subscribe to Love With Food and #MunchOn!
